Maple Tree Primary School is a thriving, happy environment. We work hard together to achieve challenging goals and make improvements to all we do. A major contribution to the successes of the school is the commitment from the whole school community and the shared determination to make Maple Tree a successful school.
Our school behaviour code is built on positive principles. All children are encouraged to consider the behavioural codes for the class and whole school. These are always expressed in positive terms which stress the behaviour that we expect to see.
Maple Tree is an important part of the local community. The school has grown and developed along with the surrounding neighbourhood. The school provides facilities for a before and after school club as well as a holiday club. A number of evening classes are offered to the local community.
We have an active Friends Association that organises a wide range of fund raising and social events throughout the school year. All families and staff are automatically members of the Association. There is a committee that takes on the planning and organisation. The events raise a lot of money to support the development of the school as well as providing a range of social events for all the family.
We are a member of the Pinnacle Trust along with 7 other schools in the local area. As a Trust we work together to share good practice and expertise with our goal to make the transition for all children from age 3 to 19 as successful for them as possible.
