At Maple Tree we take the safety of our children as great importance; their heath and wellbeing comes above all other. During the school closure, due to the COVID 19 pandemic, safeguarding the pupils is still part of the school's responsibilities. If you have concerns about your child's safety then you are welcome to contact the designated safeguarding leads for advice and guidance. You can call the school office between 9-11am or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Designated Safeguarding Leads
Both Miss Hyde, Deputy Head, and Mrs Ewen, Pupil Wellbeing Worker, are Designated Lead Persons for Safeguarding. Mrs Bainbridge, Headteacher, is the Deputy Designated Lead.They attend regular training to ensure they are up-to-date with practices and procedures and communicate appropriately with the relevant bodies. This also includes termly updates to the Safeguarding Governor.
